2. Acceptance of Terms
By using our website or booking a service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you are booking on behalf of another person, you confirm that you have their authority to do so.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our website or book our services.
3. Service Description
Legacywell provides household record organisation and document support services. All services are informational and organisational in nature. We do not provide legal, financial, administrative, or professional advice of any kind. We do not act as solicitors, accountants, financial advisers, or any other regulated professional.
Our primary service area is Bangkok and the greater metropolitan area. Services outside this area are available by prior arrangement and may involve additional charges.
Service availability is subject to team capacity. We reserve the right to decline or defer a booking where capacity does not permit.
4. Client Responsibilities
When engaging our services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information about the scope of work when booking
- Be present or have an authorised representative present during on-site sessions
- Ensure reasonable access to the household areas and storage relevant to the service
- Notify us promptly of any changes to the agreed scope or schedule
- Not request that we act outside the scope of our services (e.g. provide legal or financial advice)
All documents and items handled during a service engagement remain your property at all times. We do not remove, copy, or retain any documents or items from your household.
5. Intellectual Property
The content of our website — including text, design, structure, and materials produced for workshops — is owned by or licensed to Legacywell. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our website content or workshop materials for commercial purposes without written permission.
Inventories and indexes produced during a service engagement belong to the client. We retain no rights over the content of those outputs.
6. Payment Terms
All prices are quoted in Thai Baht (฿). The prices for our services are:
- Estate Information Workshop — ฿3,700 per session
- Document & Inventory Organisation — ฿12,000 per engagement
- Comprehensive Records Companion — ฿34,000 per engagement
Payment is due before the first session unless alternative terms are agreed in writing. We accept bank transfer to our Bangkok account (details provided on invoice). Payment confirms acceptance of the scope and these Terms.
Cancellation: cancellations made more than 48 hours before a scheduled session will receive a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours may be subject to a session fee at our discretion. For multi-session engagements, sessions completed before cancellation are charged at the pro-rata rate.
7. Service Delivery and Scope Changes
The scope of each engagement is confirmed in writing before work begins. If circumstances change and additional work is required beyond the agreed scope, this will be discussed with you before any additional charges are incurred. We will not expand the scope without your written agreement.
If access to certain documents or areas is not possible during a session, we will note what was not completed and discuss with you how to proceed. We are not liable for outcomes affected by incomplete access.
8. Disclaimers
Our services are provided in good faith on an organisational basis. We make no representation about the legal status, completeness, or validity of any document we encounter during an engagement. Our work is to organise and catalogue, not to assess, advise, or interpret.
Workshop content is general and educational. It does not constitute advice on any individual's circumstances. You should seek appropriate professional advice for legal, financial, or administrative matters arising from your records.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by Thai law, our total liability for any claim arising from a service engagement is limited to the amount paid for that engagement. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental loss.
We are not liable for any loss arising from documents or items that were pre-existing in a damaged or deteriorated state, or for outcomes that result from information or instructions you provided that were inaccurate or incomplete.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Legacywell against claims, losses, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, your misrepresentation of the scope or nature of a service request, or your unlawful or unauthorised use of our services.
11. Termination
Either party may terminate an ongoing engagement with reasonable notice. For Comprehensive Records Companion engagements, a minimum of 30 days' written notice is required to end the arrangement.
We reserve the right to decline or discontinue a service where we believe the engagement cannot be completed safely, professionally, or within the scope we have agreed.
12. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. Any dispute arising from these Terms or a service engagement shall first be referred to informal negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, it shall be referred to mediation or, if necessary, to the courts of Thailand with jurisdiction in Bangkok.
We value our relationships with clients and will always seek to resolve concerns promptly and fairly before any formal process becomes necessary.
13. General Provisions
- Entire agreement: these Terms and any written scope confirmation constitute the entire agreement between the parties for the relevant service.
- Severability: if any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in force.
- Waiver: failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce it in future.
- Assignment: you may not assign your rights under these Terms without our written consent.
- Notices: formal notices should be sent by email to [email protected] or by post to our Bangkok address.
14. Changes to These Terms
